Beth Samenuk and Allison Granger, formerly of The Lens Butler, announced the founding of their new company, Boxsee, providing continuity for eye care professionals looking for a competitive subscription contact lens offering.
According to the company’s press release, Boxsee will be partnering with 1-800-CONTACTS, VC-backed Hubble, and wholesale clubs such as Sam’s and Costco.
“We are amazed by the support that we have received from the optometric community as a whole, and it is very fulfilling for us to see others share in our vision,” Samenuk said in a press release from the company. “We are excited to continue our mission – to bring a convenient subscription offering to the patients of eye care providers.”
Samenuk and Granger revealed in the company’s release that business grew more than 200% in the last year alone. This growth provides Boxsee with the opportunity to give independent eye care providers services that improve patient loyalty and offer an affordable, convenient option to the patient.
“We learned a lot from our venture as The Lens Butler and are excited about the new direction we are taking with Boxsee,” Granger said in the release.
